Background:   

We were contacted by the residents of the house located in St. Clair Shores, MI. They have been experiencing a very large number of strange events. The following is a summary of some of their experiences.

  • Voices/unexplained phenomena happen almost daily
  • Multiple distinctive voices can be heard including
    • An older woman with an English accent - usually in kitchen, family room and basement
    • A woman in the back bedroom who says things like "Help, help my baby!"
    • An older 'mean/angry' man in one of the bedrooms
    • Children in the basement
  • Voices have been heard yelling
    • "Help I'm on Fire!" 
    • "Get out"
  • A child's shadow was seen in the basement
  • A girl was seem peeking into a stocking hanging on mantle
  • A woman was seen standing at the back door
  • A shadow man in a small brimmed hat and a long coat
  • A water faucet was turned on when someone asked for water
  • Hair tugged, shoulders tapped
  • Items thrown
 
Research:   

The home owner informed us that the house that was previously in the located on the lot had several major fires.

At this time, GLPARS has not performed any independent research.

Background: 

We did a walk through of the home with the home owner.

The activity in the home started immediately when they home owners moved in. The activity is frequent and has been experienced by all members of the family as well as friends and extended family. While there is a lot of activity in the home, the residents are not afraid of the activity. It has become almost normal for them.

We were able to set up our equipment through out the house.

  • Video camera pointing down the hallway from living room past the bedrooms
  • XY audio recorder in the hallway

Basement

  • Video camera pointing towards play area in basement
  • Motion camera pointing out of bedroom towards area where child's shadow was seen
  • Audio recorders in
    • bedroom
    • utilities area (near washer/dryer)

  • Three VN-4100PC audio recorders
  • Two VN-5200PC audio recorders
  • Stereo XY recorder
  • Two Sony DCR-HC38 video recorders with external IR lights
  • Two Cellsenor Gauss Meters
  • Digital Cameras
  • HCO Scoutguard SG550 Motion Sensor Camera - in video mode

    Investigation Process: 

    We did a walk through of the home with the home owner. After the home owner left the house, the equipment was set up as described above. Evp sessions were performed in the following locations

    • Basement bedroom
    • Basement utiliy area
    • Main floor middle bedroom
    • Main floor back bedroom (2x)
    • Main floor living room
    • Main floor family room

     
     
    Research: 

    None at this time
     
    Findings: 

    We recorded 26 hours of audio, 6 hours of video, 20 short videos on the motion camera and numerous photos.

    We did not find anything on the video.

    The audio is still being investigated and results should be posted soon.
